Job description:

We can offer a variety of shifts patterns for varying needs, whether you are looking for mornings and/or evenings. We just require everyone to be able to contribute towards weekends. This can be the same day every weekend, or alternating weekends on/off.

We are looking for caring people to join our amazing team as our service is growing further across the Fylde Coast. We are looking for the RIGHT people to join us who want to support and assist people to live in their own homes for longer.

Duties of the role:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors

Experience required:

  • A vehicle for use is essential in working as a domiciliary care assistant
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient manner
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism
